Demoncracy...I'm rather comfortable with that term. The comfort ends with etymology, of course. But I approve. In any case, Athena was a jealous goddess. She was basically a gorgeous human who knew how to fight like a man. I don't think that was lost on the Ancient Athenians.
I'm not at all surprised there is some demented or demonic meaning to yet another government branch or term, democracy from their performance record it sounds about right, demons.
