This Torn song is about a woman who thought she found the perfect man, only to find out he was Mr. Wrong all along. I just learned that Natalie Imbruglia’s hit “Torn” was actually a cover and I feel way more betrayed by this than I should, whoopsie! No big deal, though you know I´m your overly sensitive soul! I can´t help but NOT cover up my UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! And while the temptation to sing along is there, it’s just not the same as Natalie’s version. It´s my kinda heavy metal poem 4 ya.

X HO STED/TORN is based on an inner conflict the “artist” is going through via his romance. In other words, he is “torn” by the most powerful, really unprecedented feelings of both love and hate for his lover ONE TWO THREE. This is because he experiences both pleasure and pain as a result of his interactions with his lover ONE TWO THREE. Phuck!!!

One of the things he really enjoys is the spiritual intimacy, the cosmic connection. THIS IS REALLY KREYZEE!!! Yet they also experience a considerable degree of “drama”, NOT BEING PHYSICALLY TOGETHER YET, as in outspoken discontent, in fact on a daily basis of ENDLESS FRUSTRATION. I miss you, I miss you so much, And despite making perpetual attempts to call it quits, he finds himself still ‘crawling’ back ‘into the arms’ of his boo, his lover ONE TWO THREE. Or put differently, his feelings for her are not allowing him to break up, or break down, despite the “artist” having serious beef with the platonic relationship, craving it to become physical rather sooner than later.

But make no mistake about it – despite the “artist’s” grievances, this is definitely the Ultimate LOVE song, like all of the others. For instance, according to the bridge, or sleeping romantically under the bridge, he seems to prefer being with her more than engaging in any other activity. And even in regards to the aforementioned “drama”, he states that getting into it with her is his“favorite part” of the day and night, all that he can give, all that she can take, whoopsie. So in a way, one can even argue that the primary sentiment being put forth is one of affection, as in the “artist” not having the wherewithal, emotionally, to part ways with his lover ONE TWO THREE PHOENIX.

And with that in mind, you can’t help but to sympathize with me and the most beautiful conflict I´m going through. But if one were to make an attempt at predicting the future of this TRUE LOVE relationship, it´s worthy to note that the Torn song ends pretty much the same as it began. That´s to say that things will likely continue along their established course, with the “artist” going through the overwhelming dilemma of being enraptured in a wonderful, magical, arguably toxic relationship. SO UNPREDICKTABLE, SO OFF-THE-CHARTS, SO OFF-THE-RAILS, MAM!!!
