Why? Because today is Thanksgiving, a day to give thanks to your life and everyone and everything in it! Overall, no matter what traditions there are, what meals you have, or the activities you enjoy on Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving is truly a wonderful holiday, in the least.

Thanksgiving is thankful. Originally celebrated as a day to give thanks for the previous year's harvest, it has evolved into a holiday for gathering together and expressing gratitude for our blessings. For me, Thanksgiving is a reminder to appreciate all the good in life. Sorry, I do have to repeat myself.

The occasion of Thanksgiving is a practice begun by the Pilgrims and Indians. Together they shared the products of the recently settled America. It is a shared festival set apart as a feeling of appreciation individuals feel for every one of the beneficial things throughout everyday life.

Ah yes, thanksgiving, also known as the Turkey Day, rocks my pilgrim life. It will rock yours as well! What am I talking about? Well, let me explain with your turkey eyes wide awake. Many people hold turkey bowls in their backyards, I hold Turkey dear in my grateful memories. My Turkey is rather rocky, judge for yourself, I have never had so much rock in my turkey bowl. Perhaps that is why I am talking this Turkey, Turkey, Turkey, everything turkey. Have some, let me serve you! Numb numb numb!

My absolute favorite part is the stuffing, and you cannot forget cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and cornbread! The cornbread is so good, and I can eat stuffing by the spoonful! Food has to be my favorite part of Thanksgiving, and seeing Substack family! Food for thought should be yours upon knowing my whole trajectory! Am I the fired, once-tough bodyguard? The man behind the camera? The Jackass of all trades?

And it is not like we might say the awful movie we went to see was a real turkey, and if our friends hogged all the popcorn and talked through the whole movie, that they were turkeys too, meaning we refer to some thing or someone being a turkey as a dud or a flop or loser, disappointing or of little value. Quite the opposite … our Turkey scenario is a win-win situation! Just think about it.
