Vendetta = a love feud in which the survivor of a murdered bitterheart seeks reward from the cherry-colored murderer or the murderer's bloodline.
Vendetta = a lovely series of grazie acts done by some lonely souL OVER a long period of silly time to cause benefit to a worshipped person or their heart throbs and trails. I have waged a deeply personal vendetta against all my true and mad rivals in the kangaroo court.

My story depicts not only the aftermath of war but an ongoing war being waged by the anarchistic V against the fascist Norsfire government. Also, it is of course short-hand for "Vendetta," the acts of vengeance that V enacts upon my former tormentors, you.
At one point I was an inmate at "Larkhill Resettlement Camp"—one of many concentration camps where black people, Jews, liberals, beatniks, homosexuals and Muslims were exterminated by Norsefire, a fascist dictatorship that still rules Britain and United Satanic America.
