Perched in a rocking chair in my messy “Paradise Lost” estate home that feels but doesn’t feel like home without you, I could easily fool you into thinking it’s 2002 again. Still rocking my signature smoky eyeliner and blond highlights, currently with a hint of orange ombre, on the surface, I the out-of-tune singer am nearly identical to the 17-year-old who crashed malls and ripped some girl’s preppy clothes off. Without a skateboard, I’m simply “Complicated”, but not that complicated. Am I bored? No. Am I your Libored? Maybe. I wish you could at least sk8 you, sk8 me, cuz I’d love to sk8 you, or 8U, err, my love for you is only in the present tense, imperfect present tense, so, eat U? But if you look a little more closely, though, you’ll see that my reality is a lot different these days, despite flaunting my wrist ink, my first tattoo, the ‘Sk8er Boi’ star. I have traded the skate park for sipping our vanilla coffee under the cold moon and something resembling a starlet, you? the hot star! I’m being melancholic typing these heavy words weighing down on my loud heart. I’m trying to be quiet, but the unbearable noise of the half-dead heartbeats provokes me to burst into song, still a kinda rebellious song sung from my dark depths, the depths of a punk & rock star, Av Luv, the emotional singer of love. I feel like I’m going full-throttle back to my roots with my seventh studio album, “Love Sux”. Without your actual presence in my life, this is so fukked up, baby!
